Traditional German Ritmuller pianos are well made. Most of those in the UK are uprights are have a rich, powerful and full tone. They recondition well. The name Ritmuller on modern pianos was one of the first European names to be used by the Pearl River factory. The early ones are varied in quality but the later ones (since about 2012) are some of the best pianos to come out of China
