Comments
Rippen were an inovative firm. Most of the upright pianos in the UK are small mahogany and are renouned for their "floating soundboard" which is not glued to the body of the piano in the bass end, allowing for a more resonant tone. Rippen are also known for many grands made with aluminium cases.
