Comments

The name Hoffmann appears on many pianos and is often used on English pianos that are not genuine Hoffmann pianos. The spelling is also varied. Prolific make of high quality pianos during the period c1900 to c1930. All well made, (except for the Iron curtain phase from about 1968 up to about 1998), but often very worn and need extensive reconditioning. Rating is for fully reconditioned pianos.Unreconditioned ones may carry a very low rating. Please see our Bluthner page for more information.
