German Julius Feurich pianos are exceptional when restored. There are about 500 German Feurichs in the UK, dating mostly from 1900 to 1980. In 2011. Jazz pianist Jamie Cullum bought a restored 1920s Feurich upright from us. See his testimonial here. Modern Feurich pianos are designed by Wendl & Lung and made mostly in China, except for the 123 upright which has the acoustic part made in China, the action made by Renner and the case made in Vienna. Julius Feurich joined the team and the name Wendl and Lung ceased to be used in about 2010. Julius left the team in about 2012 but his name continues to be used by the company. He then worked for Seiler pianos.

The touch is remarkably well balanced between down-weight and up-weight and the tone very European. In our opinion probably the best new uprights under 7000. See here for more details. (Updated 2026)
